Arabic Intensive
OVERVIEW
PROGRAM
This summer, we are proud to announce an 8-week Arabic intensive for all levels, including absolute beginners. It will focus on the four skills of Arabic: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. This program is an excellent opportunity for students to immerse themselves in Arabic and learn the language of the Qur'an and the Prophet ﷺ.
SCHEDULE
Week 1: June 6th, 2024
Week 8: August 8th, 2023
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Summer term graduates will have proficiency in understanding the Quran by increasing Arabic vocabulary, practicing speaking, and learning mechanics of grammar and morphology.
TUITION
$350 for the public.
Included in tuition (free) for accepted Darul Fath students who apply before June 1st.
If a graduate of the Summer program enrolls in Darul Fath, they will receive a $300 credit towards their Fall tuition.
BOOKS
Students will receive all books, workbooks, and course materials for free.
PROGRAM TRACKS
1.
BEGINNER
For absolute beginners with no knowledge except how to read the Qur'an or the Nurani Qaida. This track assumes no other prior knowledge and focuses on vocabulary acquisition, sentence structure, and activities and games to create an immersive environment.
By the end of this track, students will have drastically increased their vocabulary, be comfortable reading/speaking Arabic, know various verb forms, and be able to engage with the Arabic of the Qur'an.
2.
INTERMEDIATE
For students who have some knowledge of Arabic, such as being native speakers with no formal training, or non-native students who have taken Arabic classes in the past. This track will focus on crystalizing core concepts such as various word roots and their verb conjugations, the basics of Nahw, and more.
